There aren’t so many outdoor venues in downtown, but Ellátó kert is one of them. The courtyard is fully packed with multicoloured iron chairs and tin tables, like they were brought from the plages of lake Balaton. The garden is the most attractive part of the place, really comfy on summer nights when all the parks are crowded. Ellátó is rather a classic drinking pub than a club or an exhibition place, ideal for friendly chatting and getting the first drinks in the evening, before the party begins. In the colder seasons there is a smaller place inside with a separate bar to avoid huge queues. The garden usually works all the time, prepared and equipped for winter as well, but you should take a sweater on colder days. The design with all the graffiti paintings, string lights and old furniture obviously resembles to ruin pubs. Ellátó’s great advantage is it’s great location: it’s just a few minutes walking from Deák square, with most of the bigger party places and concert venues nearby. As for the drinks, there are quality shots and wines beside classic hungarian beers on tap. There are very impressive drink variations in the shot bar to shake your party mood up, and they also have a small mexican food bar, so you can bury your hunger under all variations of chicken and beans. Other mexican traditions aren’t unfamiliar in this place, as they organize dancing programs regularly with mariachi bands playing, and of course, matching drink menu.
